"The Veil of Veronica". Based on a work by Italian artist Domenico Fetti (1589-1623), the Mosaic depicts a moment from Christ's passion frozen in time. To me, it represents a clear answer to the question "Should we continually remember the suffering of Christ, his pain, his death?" It has become fashionable to speak of the "Risen Lord" and leave His suffering behind. Not so. We need the complete work of Jesus, not just a part of it.
